My "Go-to" dinner party dish:
in fall/winter- a mess of greens sauteed with garlic and a hint of smoke, topped with carmelized onions, plate gets licked clean every time. In spring/summer- fresh fruit tart made with shortbread crust and homemade agave sweetened lemon curd and seasonal fruits

colcannon-- mashed potatoes with garlic and kale

The Mississippi Peacock (aka, my house), Somtom Gai Yang food cart, Blossoming Lotus; can't really afford to eat in 'real' restaurants

i don't really use cookbooks anymore, but back in the day it was a Sunset Vegetarian cookbook with an international flair, and Sundays at Moosewood. Oh and Laurel's Bread book.
