DTW: Best thing to eat at Slows BBQ

I love the mac and cheese - especially their revised recipe they have now. Skip the cornbread - too dry. I love their sweet potatoes - not sickening sweet. Coleslaw is good, but nothing extraordinary. Waffle fries with cheese my kids adore.

I always get the baby back ribs. They are always wonderful. Have also had the brisket, chicken, pulled pork, and salmon. They are all good, but I cannot do without the ribs.

The desserts are worth saving room for too! Every one is good!

Sunday roast in metro Detroit?

Used to be Bubble & Squeak in Commerce Township, and Fox and Hounds in Bloomfield Hills but they both closed. Oxford Inn in Royal Oak after 4PM on Sunday.

Chinese New Year

Last year I found out about all the special dinners too late and couldn't get a reservation. So I am asking now - so I won't miss out his year. I am hoping to go to a communal banquet type event with dancing and other celebratory activities. Metro Detroit area please.
