My current drink of choice:

Think of the drink that brings the most shame (to those who are easily shamed) to those who order it. No, not lite beer! The other drink. The drink that is garnished with scorn and derision. Yeah, that's the one. That's the one I like. And I think it's damn delicious.

I really wish I could:

Have a drink with Nina, Billie, Dorothy, Truman, and Zelda. Or turn back time. One of those two things.

My favorite comfort food:

Soup. I love making soup almost more than I do eating it. A pot of soup simmering on my stove makes me feel capable and rich and connected.

My top 5 favorite restaurants:

I don't go out for fine food often. When I go out, I usually go to a diner. The food is sometimes bad, and sometimes very, very, good. I like sustenance at its most basic level, staples prepared for a crowd that is often good company.
