I took an alternate route to work today across Vanowen from Burbank and noticed a sign posted outside, "Now open". I have never been, but remember there being some good reviews on here. So, if you've been missing their Q, it looks like they're back. Anyone that gets a chance to try it before I do please post your experience; also, if you'd care to post some past experiences here for reference that would be cool, too. Name is still the same, I cannot confirm same ownership.

Don't you mean near where Hudson's was? Red's is still there (I think) and Alessio's isn't actually occupying the same space that Hudson's was. I miss Hudson's good shakes and decent food.

Searching for wheat bran
I've got a no knead bread dough rising at home right now (my first bread attempt ever). They recommend wheat bran on the towel to keep the dough from sticking. I couldn't find it at Smart & Final or Trader Joe's yesterday. I work in Van Nuys and live in Echo Park / Silverlake. Can you recommend a place that will have wheat bran that's on my way home? TIA

I didn't think that the supermarkets would have it; but I called Ralphs in Glendale and they said they carry it. Once again, chowhound lends a helping hand. This place is awesome. Thanks again.
