ISO Best Source for Buying Cocoa Online Wilbur's Chocolate Co. Lititz, PA has their own brand of cocoa - excellent. |

GO NOVA! Where is best cheesesteak within 3 miles of Villanova University? Garret Hill is good, but I also like Jim's on Baltimore Ave. (not too far away) |

It seems like Bumble Bee Tuna has gone down in quality Kirkland tuna at Costco is our favorite. It's quality has been better than the "regular" brands for several years now. And cheaper. |

Nothing like a good old cast iron pan or kettle. If they're seasoned properly they make the best cornbread, stews, fried chicken, etc. You can also find good deals on them at garage sales, avoid the antique markets cause they mark them up too high. |

Grapenut ice cream in Lancaster area???? I grew up in Lanc. and never heard of it. Some people have put Grape-Nuts on ice cream as a topping. |

I grew up on fastnachts in Lanc. and really miss them here in the South. Always looked forward to these treats this time of year. I do however have a recipe from the Central Market, but for just me and Mrs. Oneiron, it's too much trouble. |

Foodies Who Take Statins (Zocor/Lipitor/etc) I had a stent installed two years ago, and was placed on lipitor, plavix, and aspirin. I exercise every day (and had prior to the procedure) and maintain a "decent" lifestyle and diet. My MD said that since my condition didn't come from any one risk factor, he couldn't rule anything out - just to maintain my exercise, watch what I eat (but don't get too carried away), etc. I haven't had a steak in two years, although enjoy a burger occasionally. The lipid numbers are fine, although they weren't high to begin with. I figure moderation is best so I'll maintain that attitude until I'm told othrewise. I don't use the drugs as crutches to eat what I want. It's all self-discipline |

Whole Tenderloin BJ's or Costco? We get a whole tenderloin every Christmas from Costco and make a salt-crusted tenderloin (from Good Eats). Turns out wonderful. I trim the membrane and fat and end up with about 1 1/2 lbs. of tenderloin which I make later - Tenderloin Tips on Toast. Prices are quite a bit better than the local groceries. |

The Horse Inn has been around a long time (it's not a farm-type place), the Press Room, Lancaster Dispensing Co., Stockyard Inn (also not a farm-type place, just near the old stockyards). |

Nava in ATL and other buckhead life options We enjoy Chops and the Chops Lobster Bar. Don't like the attitude of BH Diner, but the food's OK. |

You'll also need a business license for the area (city, county, etc.) you plan to open. The gov't. will get you in its many-tentacled ways. |

Is hair in food "really a health hazard" I'm willing to bet we've all found more hair in our foods at home than at restaurants. One is not a deal killer, several would be, especially if they were of the crotch variety. All you gaggers out there, please do so now. |

Jim's is usually better IMHO, and there's less of a crowd and you can eat inside. |

Some vitamin P (pork) and 5000 calories for the Super Bowl - the bacon explosion This would be good sliced into 1/2 in. slices and put on a toasted English Muffin w/ mayo and an egg. Woof! |

Upscale Grown Up Dining in Lancaster Can't beat the Horse Inn, or the Stockyard Inn (although the Stockyards are no longer there.) |

I Want to order food from Pittsburgh! I'd like to order some Reymer's (Heinz) Blennd mix. Anyone have a source? |
|
|
Best Ginger Ale in the world is Red Rock. Small brewer started in ATL many moons ago. Spicier than Blenheim with more carbonation - but made w/ real sugar. |
|

Charlie's in Folcroft is my favorite. Good Dog if you're in that area. |
|
|
Best NY style Deli in Charlotte is Katz NY I like Phil's NY Deli at Tyron and 3rd(?). Best salads and cold beer in the downtown area. Sandwiches are pretty good also. |
|

Why do some foods taste better when made by someone else? This begets another question: Why does beer taste better and colder in a bar than at home? |

How to get dinner guests to go home "You don't have to go home, but you can't stay here." |
|

Depends on the quantity you want to grind. If you plan on alot, you might consider a larger size than the KA. We use our KA attachment a few times a year. I also have a manual model which attaches to the countertop. I like it because it is easy to clean. Get it at an old-time hardware store. I'm also in the market for a small version BBQ shredder. I am only able to find the large, professional versions, but I don't need anything that fancy. |

Grab and Go Lunch - DT Calgary Anybody know if Rocky's Burger Bus is still in business. It's not downtown, but he had the best burgers. |
