Can someone verify the Edison happy hour deal? Yeah, I've also heard the service has gone downhill. They used to be really friendly. I wanted to show off how cool the place was though. But if Friday happy hour is only a welcome drink now (and not any discounts on the other drinks), then it's really not worth it. Thanks guys! |

Can someone verify the Edison happy hour deal? I've moved to the westside and I haven't been to the Edison in a while. I've got people visiting next month and would love to do a Friday happy hour at the Edison. But I'd hate to drive all that way and find out that it's not as good as it used to be. On Fridays, is it still a 35 cent drink and then 40% off every cocktail? I've heard that it might only be well drinks now. Has anyone tried it in 2012? Thanks! Lisa |

Schlitz tall boys in Los Angeles That's a good idea! |

Schlitz tall boys in Los Angeles I'll keep an eye out in convenience stores. Ramirez doesn't have it, and highland park would be a hike, if they had it. That's odd that a cheap beer would be harder to find than a craft beer. |

Schlitz tall boys in Los Angeles I was out at a bar last night, and had the classic 60's formula Schlitz (comes in a "tall boy" can). That was a really good cheap beer and I want some in my beer fridge. I've never seen it in the supermarket though and bevmo doesn't stock it. Anyone know where to buy it? I'm in the west la area. (I'd also recommend trying it to anyone who likes the Simpler Times / Name Tag / PBR kinds of beers) |

Party-dress date restaurants in Koreatown/Silverlake/Mid-Wilshire for tonight? I want to wear a party dress too! I see that someone had the same post a few days ago, but for the OC. I want to wear my party dress in LA. Does anyone have a suggestions for a dinner-date spot where a man can wear a dress shirt and a woman can wear a short, fun dress? Something in the Mid-Wilshire/Koreatown/Silverlake area would be best, but we'd drive a little bit for some good eats. |
