My but this changes over time, mood and other context - but at the moment, the best meal I ever ate was in La Rochelle on the Atlantic Coast of France - a giant tureen of succulent fish soup, with the tangy, piquant rouille, and then a monstrous platter of shellfish, homemade mayonnaise, fresh baked bread, and several bottles of muscadet. Endless napkins. A change of shirt at the end. A walk home round the harbour, stoppingoff for a mug of cider. Sublime
My current drink of choice:
Highland Park 18 Year Old Single Malt
I really wish I could:
Eat at will and remain stunningly buff and attractive. Maybe better make that "and become" stunningly buff and attractive.
My favorite comfort food:
As someone living in Glasgow, indian/bengali/pakistani food is a natural part of the week. A lamb and bhindi (okra) curry, with a nice steamed bhasmati rice, chapattis and some piquant sambals - washed down in very non-Islamic fashion with a strong tasting Belgian lager - Duvel by choice.
