Good bar food near or enroute to Kennedy Center

Thanks for the great recco's. Think we're gonna give Ris a try. Anyone think the bar area may be too crowded due to restaurant week? We'll probably get there around 5:30 or so.

Good bar food near or enroute to Kennedy Center

Headed to the Kennedy center on saturday and we are looking for a place to eat great bar food. We will be metroing from falls church so it can be along the way close to a metro stop or around foggy bottom. We generally don't like to sit down for stuffy dinners and prefer to graze from the bar. Our tastes run the gambit (went to Graffiato and hooters last weekend) so we are open to anything with good eats available at the bar.

2941 Bar Dining

We have reservations at 2941 for the first time this weekend, but we generally prefer to sit at the bar vice a table. Does anyone know if the entire menu is available at the bar? Thanks!

Volt Lounge

Great, thanks for the quick reply!

Volt Lounge

Anyone know if you can order off the regular dinner menu (after 5:30 of course) in the Volt Lounge or are you limited to the Lounge menu? Thanks!

Vegas for the Adventorous

Thanks, the trout sound great. We've been to Charlie's before, but only at the "bar" outside the restaurant. Do you know if you can order al a carte off the Bar Charlie menu at the regular bar - or does it only come as part of the 8/14 course menu? We've been to Carnevino for steak, we had a ribeye last time but definitely not one aged 8 months. Definitely might be worth investigating.

Vegas for the Adventorous

We're headed to Vegas on Sunday and are looking for some suggestions of adventurous eats we'd be hard pressed to find anywhere else. We love to try new foods and enjoy sweatbreads, fois gras, brains, etc - so nothing is off limits. In the past we've enjoyed the bone marrow flan at Cut, carpacio at Olives, Sawagani at Sushisamba, and lamb tongue at B&B. We've got reservations at Raku so we're covered there, but would appreciate any adventurous or unusual suggestions.

Best Appetizers in Vegas

Thanks for all the amazing suggestions. We're heading out in a few days and I can't wait to try some of these.

Best Appetizers in Vegas

My husband and i are headed to Vegas next month. We "invented" the something called the appetizer crawl in New Orleans where we jump from restaurant to restaurant and have one (sometimes 2) appetizers and a drink at each before journeying on. We're looking forward to continuing the tradition in Vegas and are soliciting any opinions on the single greatest appetizer. We're staying on the strip, so we'd prefer to keep everything there. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Vegas - Great food at the Bar

We're headed to Vegas in a few weeks. My husband and I prefer to eat at the bar in restuarants so we can share food and don't feel pressured to leave the table. Plus we hate to get dressed up. Last time we passed through we were able to do this at B&B Ristaurante and it was perfect. Any similar suggestions?

Key West Drink Recipe

I'm hosting a Key West themed b-day party for my husband this weekend and I'm trying to find a good drink to serve. His one of his favorites when we are down there is the "Blue Fish" from Red Fish Blue Fish, which we always grab on our way to Mallory Square. They don't have a website and I called to ask, but they won't give me the recipe. Anyone know what's in it or have any other suggestions?
