Pearl Jalapeno Beef Frankfurters
I just tried these this week. They are incredible! Has anyone else had the pleasure? I got them at McKinnons in Danvers last week, and I just convinced Lucci's Supermarket in Wilmington to carry them...they got them in yesterday. Rumor has it that Dom's Sausage in Malden has them too and Roche Bros Supermarkets will soon. VERY tasty change from a regular dog.

Was in the current location yesterday, you can tell it's winding down. The current location will be open through Sunday 3/11....will be closed Monday 3/12.....and the NEW store opens Tuesday 3/13!!!
Why is it so hard to find ribs at BBQ joints, in Maine, that have not been pre-boiled?
have you tried Beale Street BBQ in Bath? the Brisket and Pulled Pork were very good...but did not try the ribs...may be worth a try?

OK folks, another request. Every vacation to Maine, I am in search of the BEST Blueberry Pie in the area. Last year Dot's Bakery in Round Pond Maine was one of the BEST I have ever had. Are there any "Pie Lady's" between Harpswell and Bath, including the Popham Beach area?

I'd go to JT Farnhams. When you get back on 128, take the first exit (Rte 133) take a right towards Essex and drive about 1.5 miles or so. Farnhams is on your right with a nice Salt Marsh view. My favorite Clam hut..all the seafood there is great!

Got some a few days ago at Russell Farms in Woburn...not sure where it was grown but said NATIVE. Very good too!

That thread ended a year ago, so maybe there's someting new??? Also I see no mention of markets (super or otherwise) in that thread....VERY interested on where to source meats and veggies (I assume finding fresh seafood to cook will be quite easy)......

Would love a "data dump" of everything (Restaurants/Bars/Supermarkets) in the Harpswell area. Have never been to this part of Maine, but am close to taking a house rental in 2 weeks. Is it a good area?

7.99/6 for thier SEASONALS ONLY...and they are 16oz...and VERY GOOD! Most Summer Ales are over $8 per 6 and only 12 oz!

Went there a little over a year ago....rather dreadful....Veal as tough as a shoe sole......that was enough for me. Maybe the pizza is good???? Have NOT returned.
