Are there any reliable places to find Caputo 00 flour in Houston?
I live in Louisiana and usually stock up at Jimmy's when I go to Dallas. I have had no luck finding it in this state, but am hoping I can pick some up on a trip to Houston later this month.
San Marzano Tomatoes?
That's the best price I've seen online so far. Thanks for the link. I was hoping to find them in person and avoid the shipping charge. I'll probably just have to purchase them online in the end.
San Marzano Tomatoes?
My wife and I took a trip to Dallas a little over a month ago. We stopped at a fantastic Italian Grocery and bought La Valle brand San Marzano tomatoes. The good news is they are the best tomatoes I've ever had and make a great pizza sauce. The bad news is I'm down to 1 can and no one seems to sell them locally (I live near Baton Rouge). Does anyone have any ideas? Possibly a decent substitute brand even? I thought Central Grocery maybe...?

DFW BBQ?
My wife and I will be staying in Dallas next weekend. Is there any decent bbq around? From reading all of the posts I stumbled across, the answer is no. We don't mind driving a bit. Most of our activities for the visit are during the day. Saturday around Dallas, Sunday around Fort Worth. Anywhere on the outskirts that may make for an ok evening/night drive?
