Perhaps I went to the wrong places, but I was underwhelmed by the cicchetti at two different places I went to (names escape me.) I found it all bland and over-fried.

Comparing French milk & cream to US milk & cream
I've just moved to France, and am trying to figure out the variations of French milk and cream and how they compare to US milk and cream. I've googled and have yet to find a chart that lists what's what and how it compares to the US version. Right now, I'd really like to figure out what half & half is in France. Is there such a thing here?

Two questions about Strauss cream-top milk
As sfbing said, you can mix the cream back in but I prefer to put it on a scone or biscuit along with some jam, it's like English clotted cream. Delicious.
Hmm, I've never noticed it going sour quickly, but maybe we go through our half gallon bottle faster than most?

Safeway has frozen goose in the freezer cases around the holidays only.
I sometimes see them at Golden Gate Meats in the Ferry Building, and the Bristol Farms at the Westfield Center.
