Best French Dip?

I love the one that they serve @ Hillstones (f/k/a Houston's) in Fanueil Hall. I believe they only serve it @ lunch.

Does anyone remember the restaurant Cappuccino's in Newton?

I believe this was the same owners. The one I'm referring to is very close to where the Newton Whole Foods is now. Hoping someone who worked there (or went a lot) remembers how to make the Sangria. Thanks.

Does anyone remember the restaurant Cappuccino's in Newton?

Cappuccino's in Newton closed in the 90s I believe, they used to have the best white sangria made tableside with whole oranges etc. Does anyone happen to know how it was made? I recall maybe Prosecco and Brandy/Grand Marnier. Would love to recreate it for a 50th birthday party. (It was near the intersection of Walnut and Beacon). Thanks!!!

Visiting Boston -- Where to eat? Graduation dinner?

I think Hammersley's may be a good choice for you

Sunday night specials?

We went last night and they have since switched to veal parm and spaghetti. It was amazing. A small piece of perfectly cooked veal with spaghetti pomodoro. Wish that they offered it every day. Amazing.

Hamersley's for birthday dinner?

I tried Hamersley's for the first time this Summer and it is very very good-actually excellent. I'm not sure about a celebatory atmosphere. It is a classic and you can always count on a perfect meal. My birthday preference is either Scampo or Davios.

I totally agree with you. I asked to have the lobster removed from the shell in the kitchen and was also met with hostility by the owner who said that it would be $15 to remove from the shell. I think the meal for 2 people was $70. I can never understand why sauce is put over a lobster shell. I would never go there again. And the service was extremely slow despite a very very well intentioned waiter. And probably not their fault (or they didn't pay enough) but I'd love to have a martini before dinner-beer and wine only.

What should we order at Cafe Azteca?

The Quesadillas de Tinga are fabulous. We moved from the area and still think about the food

New Years Eve with Kids near Copley/Pru Center

My nieces and nephews (same age range) really like Game On over at Fenway Park. They have a great variety. I really like their burgers.
