Cape Cod in Winter discussion....Anything? I second the Glass Onion. I went a few weeks ago and found it very tasty and a nice staff. I still really miss the previous restaurant, but i guess he is still running a catering business. I also like Osteria La Civetta. I have been there many times, but only really liked to order the pastas and salads. If you want out of Falmouth there is Inaho in Yarmouth for great sushi or The Raw Bar in Poponessett. ----- The Glass Onion |

The Butcher Shop in South End Boston...recs on dishes and thoughts? I would say that you absolutely need to get the Tar Tar. I always get this with an extra side of brioche. It is really good and remember to add the pickled onions to the tops of the meat!! It makes my mouth water just thinking about it! |

Clio tasting menu or Gracie's? I know that Clio's is excellent, you may think about Ten Tables in Cambridge. I had my birthday dinner there and it was $40 for 4 courses and palate cleanser of concord grape sorbet. It is now one of my favorites. It is not afancy place but the quality was outstanding and it si my biggest find in years. |

Asian supermarket H Mart coming to Burlington So what is the deal with H Mart? I went to one in Virginia and it was a cross between wegmans and super 88 and cost co. They have really good asian products, cheap prices, and do samples. |

Back to the original post I try to get all my stonewall kitchen stuff at Russo's in Watertown. All the Stonewall kitchen stuff is cheaper!! I went online to Stonewall site and the wild blueberry jam(under the oranges near checkout) is 9.50 but at russos only 6. The pancake/waffle stuff (by the banana's)is only like 6 bucks also verse the $10 on the web. It seems Russo's is 40% cheaper then the listed. Check it out. Just know their stuff is in different places at Russos so make sure you look for everthing or ask. |

Sushi near Chinatown/Theater district? Depending on your budget you can do very high end Oishi on Washington, Douzo on Dartmouth or cheaper Ginza in Chinatown. Oishi and Douzo are both really south end. The best sushi is Oishi, but it is very different from its sister Oishi in Chestnut hill. I hope you really appreciate fish if you do oishi. If you are a tempura and terriaki fan please do Ginza. |
