wedding at Grand Prospect Hall I went to a wedding here two summers ago and wasn't that impressed. The food was fine, standard wedding food, but there wasn't enough of it, and beyond that, the owner was shockingly rude to some of the guests! |

Recommendations near St. George Theater (Staten Island) I forgot about this place. Good sangria, and there was a penne dish with an avocado cream sauce that I'd recommend. |

Recommendations near St. George Theater (Staten Island) Enoteca Maria, which is a sort of expensive but good Italian restaurant, is right next to the theater. |

Koto Sushi on 6th Ave & Flatbush I walked past Koto last weekend--it was completely empty at 8:30 on a Friday night. This place has been getting some decent reviews, so I ordered delivery from them last night. The food was extremely good--we had the sushi for two, which was reasonably priced, the fish very fresh, and the portion just right. The food was cheaper and better than most of the sushi I've had in the neighborhood recently. I don't know if it's better than Taro, but I'll make Koto my go-to spot for delivery. This place really deserves a bump in business! |

I used to live around the corner from New Asha. It's good, but really a takeout place, and probably not destination worthy. Sanrasa is more of a sit-down restaurant, better for a group, and closer to the ferry. You could walk there in less than ten minutes. |

The service is terrible, but their poblano stuffed with chicken dish and many of their cocktails are redeeming factors. |

Favorite Supermarket in Staten Island When I lived on Staten Island, I didn't find the Pathmark on Forest to be too bad, though the lines got long on the weekends. Decent selection and the prices sure beat the Key Food down the road. |

The Chocolate Room: Transcendent I've never had snobby or poor service at the Park Slope location, and the woman who makes the desserts behind the bar is really nice. I really enjoy their brownie sundae and the chocolate fondue. The banana split and some of the specials I've tried have been rather average. It's a good date spot. |
