The salmon at Pike Place Fish varies whether it's wild or farm raised. Right now they have wild caught smoked king from Alaska but I know at other times it has been farm raised in British Columbia by Creative Salmon Co. Last week the traditional was wild but the pepper/garlic was farmed. I always look at the sticker on the back of the vacuum pack- it says whether it's wild or not. I doubt either seller lied to you though. Probably just a different shipment. |

I saw fresh horseradish down at Pike Place Market this morning. I think it was at Frank's, but probably at the other high stalls as well. |
