Thanksgiving dinner in Baltimore: here's my list - please help me pick

Thanks, everyone! You've all been very helpful.

Thanksgiving dinner in Baltimore: here's my list - please help me pick

I moved to DC from San Francisco over a year ago, and my hubby wants to head to Baltimore to have dinner with his parents. They don't cook, and I'm not going to cook a turkey to bring, so we're eating out. I do not know Baltimore restaurants. Here are spots that have availability. ANY feedback is appreciated!

> Brass Elephant
> Corks
> Della Notte
> Grille 700 at the Baltimore Marriott
> Jimmy's Famous Seafood
> M & S Grill
> McCormick & Schmick's
> Pisces
> Sotto Sopra
> Tabrizi's
> The Owl Bar

Party of eight in Orlando - where should we eat?

Good to know. I'm used to San Francisco restaurants. A lot of those are small, so 8 can be a problem sometimes.

We're staying at the Sheraton; address is 12401 International Drive. We'll have cars, so we'd be willing to drive (but of course, if there are good close options, that's even better). We're pretty open with price and cuisine. I realize that doesn't help, but if anyone has their "top 5" list overall, or something along those lines, that would be great.

Party of eight in Orlando - where should we eat?

This is my first time in Orlando, and some of our group has only been a handful of times. We're coming from Washington DC, and we make regular trips to NYC. I used to live in San Francisco. I know big groups aren't always easy. If you can suggest any "don't miss" type of places with all this in mind, I'd REALLY appreciate it. Thanks in advance!

Fernet Branca in DC?

Does anyone know where I can find Fernet here? So far, Sherry's in Woodley Park carries it, but I'm really looking for a restaurant or bar.

Here's the other string about it: http://www.chowhound.com/topics/show/325457
Thanks in advance!

Fernet Branca

Boston? Miami? What about DC? Even Italian restaurants don't seem to carry it.

I usually sip my shot of Fernet, with a "ginger back" (ginger ale chaser). The quest continues...

Thai near the Zoo; best espresso

geoff is right, jandara (in woodley park) is probably the closest. http://www.yelp.com/biz/G_xyu-grwhAHhHLSWZBw3w it's not great, but it's not bad. if you're taking metro, it's just doors down from the woodley park metro, so it's convenient.

if you are driving, then you have more options which still aren't far. there's busara, on wisconsin http://www.yelp.com/biz/5dKw67zcM8rGgRbNg2dX8g
and thaiphoon, in dupont circle, is also relatively close http://www.yelp.com/biz/ulFvJyRA1SDD1aAk1gk7VA

I realized that link might now show, so here's another: http://www.yelp.com/biz/rxZzbh-vb1VY1r_glkq3iQ?hrid=hzXgorL0B_kOKB5Rs3TeiA

It's mind-baffling how this Italian digestif, which is so popular with San Francisco bartenders, is SO hard to find anywhere else! Most specifically, I'm trying to find it in DC. Any help? I did find one liquor store that carries it. I'm now looking for a bar so I can enjoy it when I'm out. Any help is appreciated.
