i tried swordfish once, it tasted a lot like cat food or something to that degree... is that normal? or the chef just prepared it differently?

just a regular waffle, some butter and maple syrup on the side, and also next to the waffle a big breast of regular fried chicken!

Hot or Cold tap water for boiling Pasta??
in california, i've been warned against drinking from the tap, so i just use bottle water for everything!! is it harmful to use the tap for cooking?
I bought my nephew an Easy Bake Oven for Xmas
i dont think its bad to get a boy an easy bake oven. i had one as a child, metal pans and all, and i loved it, the stuff you can cook up with those things are quite delicious. if you notice it's something hes into, you could defnitely introduce him to the kitchen and maybe cooking is one of his favorite things in life.
Allergies and Restaurants
i get the feeling of people pissed off at me if i tell them i have an allergy to a certain food a restaurant may serve. anyone else run into this problem?
Eat on Sunset?
i have not eaten at the one on sunset, but the one on magnolia in north hollywood is awesome! i dont know if they do the same things, but the food was innovative and delicious. they utilized more variety of fruit in a fruit bowl than anywhere else.
