Multi Course Prix Fixe/Chef's Menu in Denver?

ivandwu - thanks! That is interesting info about KT's Palette since we are visiting DEN to see the YSL exhibit in the first place. Wouldn't have thought that there would be a prix fixe menu in a museum - odd! but KT's name seems to be all over DEN and gets high marks. So that could be an option too.

Multi Course Prix Fixe/Chef's Menu in Denver?

Certainly with 3 posters suggesting it, it must be good. However, it's in Boulder and we won't have a car. Which factors into our ability to get there.

Multi Course Prix Fixe/Chef's Menu in Denver?

My mom and I like to visit a city and splurge on a multi-course menu at a "top" restaurant. We've tried Gary Denko in SFO, Le Bec Fin in Philly, and Comerc in Barcelona. And now we're heading to Denver!!

We're pretty big foodies but steer clear of beef - related dishes. Otherwise, anything is allowed. We'll be in Denver next weekend and have found a few possibilities but would like more, with a focus on multi-course chef's menu offerings. Mizuna and Rioja seem to top many lists. What others would you suggest?

Anything Good in Gainesville?

I am visiting this weekend (Jan 2012) and wonder if the same places are around and have the same reviews?

Talula's Garden opens tonight.

Excited to hear your review of it. I've tried Talula's Table and wanted to like it desperately but was underwhelmed. Maybe the items were just too out there for me. Please tell us what you ordered as well as your comments about the overall experience.

Looking for Restaurant Suggestions on Main Line

What about Meridith's in Berwyn or 333 Belrose in Radnor. Not sure if they would be considered "too fancy" but they server "American" fare.

Indian in Montreal.

We really enjoyed Gandhi this past weekend on St Paul. We were mulling over whether to stop there when another couple came out and gave this review, "The appetizer was not to our liking but the entrees were great" (unfortunately we didn't ask which app they had).

We were pleased that we gave it a try. The dishes did have more sweetness than we are used to but that didn't make them unpleasant. We thought the naan was the best we've ever had. We were with Indian food newbies(and since we didn't know the quality of the place) we stuck with basics: chicken korma, chicken tikka masala, shrimp sagwala

The prices seemed about what we would pay in Philly, so we weren't upset by them. Service was quite attentive. Not sure if it was "westernized" since we've never (yet) been to India and have only US examples to compare with

Where to find Vanilla beans in Philly or MainLine area?

Where can I buy good, plump grade A and B vanilla beans in the MainLine or Philly area? Main Line environs would be preferable but Philly is fine too. The furthest out west I can go is eastern Berks Co. Thanks!

Need suggestions for pre-opera dinner for 2

Yes, our tix are for the Met. Never thought to eat at the Opera itself. fascinating idea!

Going to ONeals the next day for lunch with a friend. So that's out for now.

Thanks for posting about times. I thought 6 would be PLENTY of time. Still need to get the tix at the call-box office so we need a few minutes for that.

Need suggestions for pre-opera dinner for 2

We're new to NYC, new to the opera, (new to it ALL, practically). Any suggestions for places to go pre-opera for dinner. As far as price ranges and cuisines go, we're flexible but Nougatine -like places look like a good try (we've not been there yet, it's just been recommended). Any other suggestions? Also, what time should we be booking to make the opera?

Also, how about afterwards suggestions for drinks/cocktails?

Where to buy/ship pre-made gingerbread house in/to Vancouver?

My family is visiting Vancouver over the holiday and I want to ship a gingerbread house to their hotel. I've verified that the hotel will accept the package. The issue I am running into is that I live in the USA and every american online site (ending in .com) I find with a gingerbread house will not ship to Canada. My guess is that it's due to customs since most won't ship to HI or AK either.

So my thought was to find a store or Canadian website (ending in .ca) that could ship within the country. Perferably they would be in or near Vancouver so that shipping is not ridiculous. I'm not finding anything though.
