How about news cafe? (not sure of spelling) further down on robertson, accross from the Ivy... I had the grilled artichoke and burger and they were good. Def. trendy place.

Moved to LA 2 months ago and taking some friends out to dinner soon. We want to try a new place in Santa Monica without braking the bank.... preferably a good spot where entrees are between $15 and $25... Thanks
