Five Guys vs. FAT Burger?
Four Words: Rodeo Burger. Pickled Beets. Their prices are much more reasonable than Fat Burger and toppings are unlimited.
The thought of Fat Burger is enough to make my stomach turn. I have given this establishment the benefit of three return visits only to be horrified on each: an undercooked burger, a take out tray tripping in grease, etc. I will NEVER go back.

culina highlands in Edmonton
We had dinner at culina (highlands) Friday and enjoyed our experience very much. We'd been waiting to go to Bacon so I can not offer any comparison to their old offerings. That said, I can't complain about any food that comes with sour cream... something the Borscht, crepes, and Ukranian style platter had plenty of. I also had the Cote du Rhone selection and the other half had the Aussie Shiraz/Grenache/Malvedre - both wines stood out enough to warrant purchasing a bottle for home. A little noisy, but cosy and great atmosphere.
Special Dinner Out in Edmonton
If you do choose Red Ox Inn, be sure to book in advance (and order the bread pudding). They may be closed or fully booked for private functions due to Christmas as OpenTable was not able to find a table for two until after January 4th!
