Is the Side Street Inn a decent place to stay the night?
Just need it for the one night as we head to Ko Olina on Friday.

We are arriving at Honolulu airport at 11PM on Thursday, December 13, we are renting a car and heading into Waikik for the evening....3 of us are coming from Los Angeles and the 4th from Ohio. I have to imagine we will be hungry. Any suggestions on where we should eat a very late dinner?

I frequent the TED'S in Colorado Springs (my son is in school there) and absolutly love it. The food is excellent, the service is great and I am now a bison convert. They will bring you a sample of bison if you would like, before ordering and they bring yummy half-sours and rolls to the table too.

A favorite meal at my house is TJ's Orange Chicken, TJ's Bird Nests and white rice (made in the rice cooker).

Stonefire with branches in Irvine and Fountain Valley is wonderful. It is baked fresh daily from a old family recipe.

Really the best GYRO is at Athena's in Canyon Country.

Really everything they have there is great--all authentic greek food at reasonable prices.

Pho Ng (yummy and inexpensive Pho bowls)
Love Sushi (decent sushi)
Chi-Chi's Pizza (part of the small Los Angeles area chain)
Picolla Tratorria (delish, italian food--reservations often needed)

The place was shut down following a fire but has been rebuilt and reopened by the same, original owners. It is excellent old school italian and a nice place for families. Go and enjoy!!

A group of 10 want to have an early dinner (6:30PM) at Pizzeria Mozza next Friday, January 30th--if we dont have reservations should we just pick somewhere else?

Order any cold sandwich 'Mike's Way" and you won't be disappointed.

The best salads, hands down, are at Stonefire Grill (West Hills, Chatsworth, Valencia and Orange County). They have many to choose from and even the small is more than enough for one person.
