Good eats between NYC and Interlochen,MI via I80

Agree on Ruggero's but Halo Burger is not that great. It's okay but not worth the price in my opinion.

Looking for restaurant suggestions between Grand Blanc, MI and South Bend, IN

Thanks for the reply. I'm from the Lansing area originally. Was hoping to find something in other towns. I just ended up eating at one of the Toll Road plazas since I didn't even know where to begin. The stress of having 2 family members die within days of each other was just too much for me to handle looking up new restaurants. I will be heading back to South Bend in a few weeks for a cousin's graduation party so hopefully I can find something worth hopping off for.

Looking for restaurant suggestions between Grand Blanc, MI and South Bend, IN

Tuesday I will be travelling to Indiana to attend my aunt's funeral. Looking for a restaurant about halfway through the trip. I will be travelling on 69 south and the 80/90 toll road. I would prefer not to eat fast food. Any tips/suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Oh yuck. Never heard of somebody deep frying bacon. Guess I shouldn't be surprised. Most of the menu was fried food items.

I like my bacon to be crispy but not to the point where it's so hard I feel like I'm about to lose a tooth after biting it lol. Always wanted to try it after seeing it on various food shows. I don't have a desire to go back but if someone suggested it I wouldn't say no.

My fiancé and I went to Tony's last week and the food was okay. You get a lot of food but the quality is eh. My man got the blt with the pound of bacon. It was huge. I tried a piece of the bacon and it was too hard/crispy for my liking. Also it had a weird aftertaste which I didn't care for. There is no alcohol there. If Tony's will be too far off your route I would skip it.

Looking for good eats and Asian markets in the Grand Blanc area [MI]

Thanks. I figured I would have to make some trips out towards Detroit area for big items like rice (I go through a lot of rice. Damn my Asian genes and love for rice lol). I will check out the Seoul market and Chutney Bazaar to see what they offer. I did find a middle eastern market on Hill Rd. (unsure of the name) and they had a nice selection of spices and meats. Again, thanks for the suggestions. It is much appreciated :)

Thanks. Sorry if I seemed rude. Just been stressed with the move and finding out that 2 family members have terminal diseases. I will check out those discussions :)

Looking for good eats and Asian markets in the Grand Blanc area [MI]

I see others that don't put MI after the city name in their title and I don't see others jumping on them about it. Btw I realized after I posted that maybe I should put MI in the title but it didn't give me an option to edit. Just want some helpful suggestions. If there is none well so be it. Have a good day.

Recently moved to Grand Blanc and looking for some restaurant suggestions, mainly ethnic foods. Also, looking for oriental markets in the area. My fiancé is not very helpful either since he's not big on foreign foods. Any help would be appreciated.

Need suggestions for a restaurant near the Detroit Zoo

I will be heading to the zoo Tuesay. Thinking about hitting a restaurant in the area for dinner. Nothing ethnic bc hubby is a very picky eater (basically meat and potatoes kind of guy). Casual since we will have just come from the zoo. Thanks in advance = D

Looking for Pineapple Orange Faygo in or near the Lansing, MI area.

Just tried calling them and the call center is based in CA (National Bev). Said the call center is open to 5pm pacific time during the week but nobody answered and I was told to leave a msg. I really hate this automated crap. Give me a dang person to speak with augh. Btw it's 6:34 eastern time and I believe Cali is what 2 hrs behind so they should stiill be open. Geez Faygo get your crap together.

Taco Bell Cantina Tacos

Tried the chicken cantina tacos the other night and would've been great if it had less onions. I love onions but geez not when it's half the taco filling.

Nope not yet. I just found it odd that I found that flavor down there and not in Lansing since Faygo is a Michigan company. All these years I thought the flavor was discontinued. Will call them though thanks for the help = D

Looking for Pineapple Orange Faygo in or near the Lansing, MI area.

I recently took a trip to Alabama to visit in laws and saw Pineapple Orange Faygo in a local grocery store. I thought I had died and gone to heaven. I haven't seen this flavor in years so I bought a bunch of 3 liters to take back to Michigan. Alas my supply has run out and I'm wondering if anybody has seen this flavor up here? I'm willing to drive an hr or so to get my fix lol.

Any good eats in Cullman, AL?

Sounds good. I definitely want to hit places where I can find dishes not found up here in Michigan. Johnny's will be a must have since I've been dying for some good bbq. Looks like I'll be down there sometime next week so when I get back I will report. Thanks for the suggestions = D

Tim Hortons East Lansing big disappointment = (

Stopped at Tim Horton's on Chandler Rd and ordered the Egg Salad sandwich combo and when I got home to eat it I was surprised at how small it was. I swear that the sandwich is usually bigger than that when I get it from another location. Oh well I'm hungry so I start to eat and I notice no tomatoes wow. Now I'm really not happy. Is it just this location or maybe they changed things since I've last been (about a month ago). I usually hit the one on Larch b/c it's closer to my house but Chandler is closer to work. If it's just a location thing then I will definitely not go back to this one. Also ordered a few cinnamon rolls and my husband said it was so hard they should be dog biscuits yikes = (

Fuji Japanese Buffet [Madison Heights, MI]

All Day Long I've waited for a reply. Confusion no more and will give this place a try. Driving 60 miles an hour and I will be there in no time. I won't be Shellshocked by the price. Hope my old car will make the trip and pray I won't need a new Transmission. Will the food be orgasmic and lead to Temptation. Will I pig out like Homer and cause the staff to scream "She's Lost Control." With some restrain I won't be a Young Offender.

Lol very clever and finally someone gets it haha. Well I heard some people mention this place but heard conflicting reviews. Some great and some eh... I head out to the Detroit area once every few months b/c my hubby is obsessed with the Tigers and Red Wings lol. All you can eat sushi and other assorted goodies sounds great to me. So people let me know if it's good or not = D

Looking for restaurant that serves chinese wide rice noodle dish [Lansing/Detroit, MI]

Anybody know of any restaurants that serves this dish. I believe the noodles were panfried along with vegetables in a brown sauce. I use to get it in Chicago chinatown restaurants. I live in the Lansing area but doubt I would find it here. So maybe Detroit area? I would be willing to drive 90 miles to get my noodle fix = D
