Birthday gathering ideas Baltimore
Downtown, midtown or uptown, any good ideas for where about 3-40 people could hang out, munch on good food and drink while celebrating a big birthday?
Would consider renting a private room, but the back of a bar or restaurant would do.
Thanks in advance,
Polly
Birthday, casual in Balto
Looking for ideas for a birthday dinner in Baltimore. Probably 8 people and we're looking for good/decent food and not expensive. preferably downtown so we can stop someplace close by and have a few drinks. We did Lemongrass last year and that was fun, so what to do this year?
Thanks in advance,
Polly
dinner with kids in Balto
ok, to celebrate my sons first day in kindergarten, we're taking him to dinner. He loves pasta and I agreed we could go somewhere that has pasta (preferably plain or in red sauce).
However, we would like to be able to eat reasonably well without also having to eat pasta. Not looking for anything expensive and must be somewhat child friendly. We're willing to go uptown, downtown or north of the city (we live in Roland Park).
Any thoughts?!
Thanks in advance,

eating with kids in Naples
Thank you all for your suggestions. I checked the Docs Crayton Cove site and there wasn't anything for my kids to eat, but I thought it looked great! The Doc's Beach House reminds me of Ft. Myers, pretty much exactly what I was hoping it would be! I imagined the kids playing on the sand while the husband and I enjoyed a few beers and munching on some apps. Thanks again!!!

eating with kids in Naples
We visited Naples last year and had a difficult time finding places that weren't chains, where we could dine with our ids and enjoy our meal as well.
We did Yabba's one night and that was ok. Another evening we took the kids to an area called Venice or the Venetian or something where we could have drinks, be by the water and feed them chicken nuggets. It said it was family friendly, but it wasn't really.
Ideally, we'd love to find a place near or on the water (I understand Ft Myers is more likely to have this than Naples, as Naples is more high end and not
'beach bar" friendly).
We vowed this year we'd be more prepared as we know the area a bit better. We're staying on the beach, a very short drive from 5th. Any suggestions? Our kids are 2 and almost 5.
Thanks in advance,

nice lunch near Walter's Art Museum
I am addicted to Chinghale, it's the only place that i want to ever go to and it's slowly driving my husband crazy! Thank you for the suggestion.
nice lunch near Walter's Art Museum
Sorry, I should have said! I'm thinking Saturday. Sotto Sopra sounds great, something I was already thinking of. Just wondering if there is a gem I have overlooked. Oh, my mom is only somewhat adventurous, but I think helmand might be too much for her!
nice lunch near Walter's Art Museum
I'm taking my mother to the Walters to see the jewelry exhibit and to a very nice lunch for her 60th birthday. Any suggestions for lunch? Moderate to expensive is fine, and it doesn't have to be especially close to the museum.
Thanks!
