The wife and I were very in to this. I did tinker a bit by including a bit of bacon fat instead of 2 tbsp of butter, using chilled vodka instead of water, and mixing in a little sweet potato with the pumpkin. Other than that, I stuck to the recipe. I found the proportion of pie mixture to crust was a little low, but it was a nice twist on this classic. I look forward to the cold leftovers tomorrow!
