My son is turning 1 yr old next month and we would like to get him a birthday cake that is decorated with a monkey theme which he will love.....we live in the Bayview and Sheppard area but am willing to drive for a great cake. Any suggestions?
brunch at Oliver & Bonacini Cafe Grill at Bayview Village
I had brunch at Oliver & Bonacini a couple of months ago and specifically ordered fresh squeezed orange juice. The waiter told me bluntly that they don't have fresh squeezed orange juice that they serve only Tropicana orange juice. I was really surprised by that, given that they always have other fresh squeezed juices available. At least the waiter was honest with me and told me it was Tropicana before i ordered it.

We will be staying at Blue Mountain resort this weekend and wanted to suggestions on where to eat for dinner. Any suggestions on where to go ? We would prefer to eat at the Village, so we don't have to drive. I was looking at 3 Guys and a Stove.

Lobster Roll Sandwich - Where can I find one in Toronto?
I'm looking for a lobster roll sandwich in the Toronto area.......when i'm visiting New York City, I always visit Pearl Oyster Bar for their lobster roll sandwich, but i don't think i have ever seen one similiar on any menu in Toronto. A couple of years ago, i had a lobster sandwich at Bymark, but this was a disappointment as it had tiny amounts of lobster.
Any suggestions?
Scaramouche Lobsterlicious - Any reports?
Please let us know how the Lobsterlicious at Scaramouche turns out. I've made a reservation for Feb 4th. There was an article in last Saturday's National Post that said it was pretty good. Where can i buy a turkey roulade from?
I'm looking to buy a turkey roulade (turkey breast pounded flat, then spread with stuffing and then rolled) That way, all i have to do is bake the turkey roulade, then slice it when my guests come over for dinner.
I was thinking to check out Cumbrae's in Leaside to see if they had this..........any suggestions out there?
Best Fish & Chips (and Gravy) in Richmond Hill area?
We went to the Old Galley about a month ago or so and we noticed a "For Lease" sign on the outside. When our waitress came over, we asked her what was going on. She said that they are closing but they are looking for another location. She said that they would probably relocate a little more north on Yonge St. She mentioned a desserts cafe north of the Old Galley location. It sounded like it could be a while since they were still looking for a new location. She didn't mention why they were relocating. We were lucky to visit that last night to get our fish and chips!
