I got Crabs - help!

Ye they were alive, they were in a frozen coma because I went back today to get more. They seemed to reanimate when I washed them. Yesterdays batch is still in the fidge in water... I think they're dead. I just don't know for sure cuz I left rubber bands on them. Think they're edible? Or chuck them?

Do you use dough enhancer? Make your own?

I don't use that stuff. It looks like it's supposed to help preserve the bread to give it a longer shelf life. (pectin, ascorbic acid)

I got Crabs - help!

I purchased crabs yesterday that were iced from a supermarket. They were not frozen but they were bound. I left them in the plastic bag last night.. did I just make them inedible?

There was a yellow liquid in the bag in the afternoon that I quickly disregarded. I've never cooked raw whole crab before and these are not the standard large orange crabs, they are smaller and grey (but not horseshoe)

I really don't want food poisoning.

"the less economically lucky" class shops at the stands on the sides of the roads. Or we barter with other goods and services with the field workers (who get a lovely share of the crop).

It's funny, in California, I'm lucky to say I've never walked into a Super Market for everyday produce. Once I went to a Vons and laughed at the price of 1.00 an avocado....

PSH I can get half a box for $5 (it has like 10?) and I consider that a normal over-priceness HAHAHHAAH

(Oh yea, the challenged don't shop Farmers Markets either you can go to a swap meet for the same thing.... but hey, that's in California lol)

Bacon-Wrapped Turkey with Pear Cider Gravy

I made it last night and the bacon made a delicious ordorve when I made people wait for the whole bird to sit and cool. I changed the rub too, to a margin and dijon paste it came out okay. :)
