Ate at the newly opened Everest Grill in Broad Axe last night. Food, ambiance and service were very good. It will give Ambler's Saffron a run for it's money.

The Inn at Phillips Mill, New Hope - has anyone been?
I agree with many of you who feel that the restaurant has gone downhill. It is good, but not as good as it used to be. When we were there last month, the service was particularly bad. We had to wait for 1/2 hour even with reservations, waited for 20 minutes for menus, and each course was delayed.
But the setting and rooms are very romantic, and that is the big draw.
Hotel du Village is another similar restaurant in the area. Haven't been there in years. Would welcome opinions about that one.
Isabella in Conshohocken

Need Christmas Eve dinner suggestions near North Wales/Harleysville area
Here are some that are open on Xmas eve. They are all good. But all are small and charming. Not sure if you would think of them as "fun and festive":
Mina's in Soringhouse;
19 Bella in Skippack;
Trax in Ambler.
ITALIAN BYOB PHILLY SUBURBS
From the Boot in Ambler has a private room downstairs. They have a bar, but might allow BYO for a private party. Food is good.
There is also Mirna's in Blue Bell. They will allow a private party on a day they're closed (possibly a lunch on Sunday).
Searching for a restaurant open Christmas Day!
Here's another Asian to add to the list of open on Xmas eve and Xmas day. It's Umami Umami in Dresher. Haven't been there yet, but it's new and looks beautiful inside. They have a liquor license too. I'm planning on trying it this weekend.
Hotel du Village
Ate at the Inn at Phillips Mill this past weekend. Food was good. Service was not.
While there, a local foodie said that the Hotel du Village is good also.

Seven Fishes dinner in Montgomery County
Anyone know of any restaurants that are serving Seven Fishes dinner.
I'm specifically looking for one that might be open on Xmas eve. But maybe that's unrealistic because anyone who would serve that has their restaurant closed so they can be home dining with their family.

Umami Umami: Dresher
It finally opened after the Dresher Inn had been vacant for 17 years. Anyone tried it yet?
Domenico's in Blue Bell Opens
Went there last week and really liked it. Food is very good; servers need time to learn the ropes. It's packed on weekends and hard to get reservations.
Going again this week.
I saw Blue Horse is out of business.
I heard that Delmenico's opened this week.
Also heard that it is fantastic. Looking forward to trying it.

Anyone been to the new Christine's in Huntingdon Valley? Their original is in Yardley.

Which to choose for a group for lunch next Sunday?
Have read good reviews of Dee's Pizza/Italian on Metropolitan Ave. in Forest Hills. But how is the ambiance inside and outside? How does the food compare to Pasticcio in the Shops at Atlas in Glendale? What about Shiro of Japan, also in the Shops at Atlas?

Ravenna Closed
Was also surpriseded they closed so suddenly. When I called for reservations, talked to the owner of the new restaurant. It's called Zacharias Creek. He said they plan to open mid-summer.
Marcella Nord in New Hope
Has anyone eaten at Marcella Nord in New Hope. It's the sister restaurant of Cafe Marcella, which I've enjoyed. Others I'd like an opinion on are Martine's, Zubi, 90 Main. ANy other favorites in the area?
There are so many good ones in the New Hope/Lambertville area.
