Best mushroom dish in the city?
sportello has a mushroom, english pea gnocci dish on its menu that rotates in seasonal mushrooms. When chanterelles are in season, it is tough to beat this dish. Still pretty good now, even though they are serving pedestrian shitakes. (Wow, that's sounded mighty snobby). By the way, i found the recipe for this dish in a Saveur Magazine a few months back.

Looking for a place to do a nice leisurely lunch in Waltham La Campania, Il Caprico, and Tempo only serve dinner, and I want to do something nicer than the Naked Fish. Any suggestions.
Romantic & Fun - Boston?
Radius may be a tad above the price point (depending on what you drink), but it is fun a romantic. I have to also give props to Scampo - good food and some real gems on their wine list. You could also head over the Clink for an after dinner drink across the hall- it's trendy, but supposed to be fun (disclaimer - never been to Clink just seen the lines). I would stay away from Sel Da Terre. I have heard good things about Craigie. I'm not sure the Butcher Shop is romantic, but it's great. The other fun romantic place is Upstairs on the Square.
Best Boston Burger
The Butcher Shop put a burger on their menu fairly recently. It is out of this world! I also had a great burger at the Independent in Union Square recently.
