Auberge de Pommier tasting menu with pairings - WOW!!!!
My current drink of choice:
Mojito or caprahina
I really wish I could:
Eat for a living!!
My "Go-to" dinner party dish:
Seared duck with cognac cherry sauce. I also like to do a pea soup with dumplings, flash fried julienned leeks and curry oil.
My favorite comfort food:
Linguine with clam sauce - OK, any pasta really!
My top 5 favorite restaurants:
Auberge de Pommier, Amuse Bouche, Perigee, North 44 and for local everyday cheap and cheerful and because I'm not a snob, Cranberries on Parliament and Swiss Chalet (when it's good and fresh, it's really good)
My most tattered cookbooks:
Any LCBO mag. Also, for basic tried and true, Better Homes and Gardens - it literally fell apart and my sweet husband found the same edition on line and replaced it for me!
