Japanese Steak House Restaurant recommendations ive been here several times, and I think its great. also has good non-teppanyaki options. |

Trader Joe's Yay/Nay Thread - March 2013 [OLD] 1 more yay is the raisin rosemary crackers-a hint of sweet with savory. nutty. yum. |
|

Trader Joe's Yay/Nay Thread - March 2013 [OLD] i know its been mentioned but the dried kimchi is not good.not good at all. fishy mess is dead on. yay: the italian truffle cheese (dont know if its new), quite tasty- a little nutty, some pieces are a little gritty but its barely noticeable-nice mild cheese though. oh i wish theyd bring back the unripened brie they had in January...it was heavenly. |

oh yeah and the service....incredibly slow. painfully slow. |

not impressed by appetito-wanted to enjoy it so badly. The outside shows great promise. |

Out of the loop --where do I go for one night out in Boston these days?? just had an awesome "night out" in the big city! drinks at hawthorne-top notch service, dinner at eastern standard :) Eastern standard was a tad loud and crowded but we had a great meal (Oysters, steak frites, mac and cheese-it was a splurge kinda night) We really wanted to hit up icob for some oysters and a cocktail but it was to crowded and we were a little toooo tipsy after dinner hehehe. |

Barcelona: Lower Your Hopes to "Moderate" that's to bad, ive been to several in CT and have enjoyed the food and wine. |

i dont know if its out of your way but im a HUGE fan of il casale in belmont. I always start the meal with the proseco cocktail-with a candied hibiscus and my bf who is not a big drinker but has been known to polish off a few "carpanos". |

just found a post a few hours ago about the same thing...and since we are staying on the waterfront we will be doing toro-thanks! of course i welcome other suggestions and input. |
|
|
some girlfriends coming in a few weekends-we love wine and food and are excited to head out-we were thinking about toro-for tapas and wine. It just seems more social and kinda different than what we're used to. |

Ok we've got every kitchen gadget around-or at least it looks that way |

Our Own Channel 2 Airs David Chang/Momofuku Series 11/9 I have only watched the ramen episode, which made me crave ramen and I don't think that craving is going to be squelched anytime soon. It was serious food porn. and who doesn't love david chang. I cant wait to watch the other episodes. |

August 2012 Openings and Closings its a slight step up from john brewers-went last night-good beer list, better than the usual john brewers-it was packed. also very loud but overhead a waitress saying they had ordered sound proofing (as a sidenote: several people waiting gave up there spot bc of the noise). bf got a burger which he thought was great and i got a buffalo chicken wrap-also what i expected and was pleased it was grilled chicken not fried. we'll go back the prices were reasonable and the beer/drink list was good enough. im sure it will be crowded for a while there isnt to much over there. |
