Looking for Mexican Rice (South Bay)
Looking to purchase Mexican rice for a party. Preferably in the south bay, but also can be located in the 880 corridor (Milpitas to San Leandro). I was thinking some burrito places, but I think it may be more expensive then a deli/market. Thanks
VA CHEF IN BAY AREA JANUARY 7-14, WHERE DO I EAT? NO RESTRICTIONS

Bakesale Betty - It's all true!
I had the fried chicken sandwich from Gregoires, and it looked very similar from the pictures I've seen of BakeSale Betty's. I believe Gregoires had coleslaw as well, but maybe not 2 cups worth.
Bakesale Betty - It's all true!
Gregoire had a fried chicken sandwich on their menu a couple of months back. Can anyone comment how these compare?

Peninsula Recommendation: Party For 70
Looking for your recommendation for a restaurant preferably with a private room that can accommodate around 70 people ( 50 adults & 20 children). Also looking to spend around $35-40 per head not including alcohol. We are not interested in doing a Chinese restaurant as that has been done before. Thanks
Roadside BBQ - 2nd Ave.and Geary Blvd
I just tried this place tonight. Hopefully, it was an off night for them. I had the 2 way combo; the brisket and the babby back ribs. They were both very dry. The two sides I ordered were the mac n' cheese and the garlic fries. The only thing decent were the garlic fries. I should also mention that the corn muffin was both hard and dry. I was hoping to like the place but hopefully they are still getting things together. I'll try again but not anytime soon.
Praise the Lord - Gregoire's Philly Cheesesteak Has Returned
My question is when is the corned beef sandwich gonna return?

Golf Trip to Portland and Need Good Chow
Extramsg,
Thanks for your detailed response. That was the answer I was expecting out of 10 replies, but got it in one! Thanks a bunch. We are from the Bay Area. We tried for Bandon but they were booked pretty solid. We plan on playing 2 rounds a day thrs-sat. I'll jot down these burger places which will make for a good pit stop between rounds. Do you have any suggestions for must have dinners? We are pretty game in trying all cuisines. Thanks again for your response!
Golf Trip to Portland and Need Good Chow
We'll be staying in downtown Portland for a golf trip. What are some of the best burger places around the Portland area? If this helps, we plan to play Pumpkin Ridge, Camas Meadows, The Reserve, Langdon Farms, Heron Lakes and Stone Creek. What are some other good eats around these golf courses?
