Looking for private dining room in Cambridge Area
We have a group of family gathering for a graduation at the end of the month--we are looking for a Cambridge area but can even be Arlington or west suburbs-for a midweek dinner. Does anyone have any ideas of places that would have a small room to accommodate 12 for dinner? We have some elderly folks with us and I find that the noise level and seating in restaurants is not conducive to letting conversation flow around the table so that all can enjoy. We had a great dinner in a private room at the Nashoba Valley Winery in Bolton aways back, but we don't want to go that far for this.
Thanks, Chows, for your ideas!

Lancaster and the vicinity.. what to eat? where to go?

So...What did You Cook for Sunday Dinner?
your chicken sounds yummy too! Alas I am not a tarragon fan. I do love thighs though--but my family rebeled against them. Do have trader joe's near you? They have these great bags of ice frozen thigh and breast meat--just great for fast dinners..... but my family said NO MORE THIGHS!! sigh
So...What did You Cook for Sunday Dinner?
I made a chopped salad with corn scraped off the cob (leftover from fresh picked and boiled on friday) black beans, red onion, radish, cuke, 3 colors of peppers seasoned with spanish olive oil, lime juice, cumin and white balsamic. bruschetta from farmstand tomatoes, garlic, basil, kosher salt and spanish olive oil on squares of toasted armeian flatbread brushed with evoo, and grilled chicken breasts marinated in oil, garlic and fresh rosemary. also homemade blackberry cobbler from berries picked in my yard this afternoon. do I win???
Maine wild blueberries @ Russo's
I do not posess enough hyperbole to describe my feelings for Russo's. The armenian flat bread, the coffee, the gorgonzola dolce, the caprese sandwich. I calculate every trip in and out of Boston to include a detour to Russo's. And mind you I am a new yorker by birth and a long time foodie and a bostonian for more than 30 years and there is NO place better. SO THERE!
