Ponte Vedra - need recs for places to eat please
Medure is definitely anniversary worthy and is your closest match. Excellent food, service & revamped dining room. Palm Valley Fish Camp is also very good (www.palmvalleyfishcamp.com). For Southern food go to Barbara Jean's for lunch. They have outside seating overlooking the inter coastal waterway. Another spot with a view (golf course) is the TPC Clubhouse's Bar & Lounge Nineteen - also has happy hour 4-7. I'd be remiss if I didn't mention another local spot JJ' Bistro (French). Beware it is in a strip mall, but the food & service are spot on. They also offer a limited 3-course pre-fix for $20.

NCAA Dinner Options in Jacksonville near Veterans Memorial Arena or Downtown Hotels
I know these places have private rooms: Capital Grill, III Forks, Shula's. Others I'm not sure about but are worth calling: Bistro Aix, Matthews, Orsay, TPC Clubhouse (http://www.tpc.com/sawgrass/food_beverage/index.html)

Birthday Meal In Jacksonville
While the French Pantry is excellent & always worth the drive & wait, here are a few ideas closer to home:
Eleven South - Jax Beach, upscale
JJ's Liberty Bistro - PVB, outdoor seating, good food (delicious mini bison burgers)
Urban Flats - next to JJ's, more casual but still nice
Nineteen at TPC Clubhouse - outdoor seating over looking the golf course

Is Tijiuana open for dinner?
Naples Resturant Rec's
Just got back from Naples & despite the odd name we had a nice dinner at Handsome Harry's (near Sea Salt) - lots of outside seating.
Dining with a dog ...
Thanks to everyone. We ended up skipping Hallandale (will go later in the Spring). Took the dog with us to Swan River in Naples - where we enjoyed deliciously fresh Gulf oysters and NE little neck clams. Going through Orlando we had a very satisfying lunch at Greek Flame Taverna - while the outside dining isn't picturesque - they are very dog friendly!
Dining with a dog ...
We'll be traveling with our Welsh Corgi (25lbs). Looking for outdoor dining options where we can bring him. We'll be in Hallandale/Hollywood then over to Naples then up towards Tampa. Any and all recommendations are appreciated!
Any REAL tacos in Jax??
no - lots of places that make the claim but fall dismally short.
East Lansing fine dining?
I'll be in town next week. Looking for a nice restaurant to take a client. Prefer a steakhouse, but open to other recommendations.
Best In Ocala..............
I was in Ocala last May and had a great dinner at Pi on Broadway. We went for the pizza but ended up eating from the tapas menu. If the weather is nice check out their rooftop bar. Also heard good things about Mark's Steakhouse, but we never made it there.
Restaurant in JAX for private party (of 20)
I'm not aware of many options, but I know Capital Grille has a private room.
International (Ethnic) Food in Jacksonville
White I'm not well versed on the Southside dining scene, I look forward to exploring Moot's list. Also, want to second the recommendation for Pepe's Hacienda. It is always worth the drive.

Jacksonville Beach (or Neptune, Atlantic Beaches)
Skip Singleton's. While it's only a lunch option; check out Safe Harbor Seafood in Mayport. For dinner I highly recommend the Palm Valley Fish Camp.

Lunch ideas near Philly airport
Thanks to all. Since I've been to Philly before I know I'll be back, this trip I'll play it safe. Heading to the Marriott for the change of scenery.
Lunch ideas near Philly airport
I have a 3 1/2 hour lay-over tomorrow in Philly. I'd like to leave the airport and have lunch. I'm flexible on type of food & price. Any ideas or am I better off eating at PHL?
