20Lb. Turkey in September?

I am having a dinner party next week for 6 and would like a 20 lb turkey (so there are leftovers) yes I know that it's big but this isn't my first time to the rodeo, just my first bird outside of Thanksgiving.

Anyway point being, does anyone know a place to get a bird this week? Fresh killing is preferable.

If you return the pit to the bowl after mixing the ingredients the guac will maintain its green color significantly longer and not turn brown

Beer to Wrestle With

In Philly I'm a fan of Victory Brewing Company's Golden Monkey is a wonderful strong beer. A Belgium-style ale with 9.5% abv it is a great way to start the night or finish your day with friends. Whenever you are in Philly, ask for it, you won't be disappointed!

New Yorker looking for quintessential Philadelphia Cheap Eats

while we are picking up craft beer and cheap eats also try Prohibition Tap at 13th and Buttonwood for a rotation of 6 beers and about 50 bottles. Their food is also very good - Mac n Cheese, special burgers and everything else. They also have a breakfast joint down the block called Cafe Lift, it's on par if not better than Sabrina's

For lunch you've gotta try Paesano's. This is a 7-seat lunch counter on the edge of Northern Liberties. It is at 152 W Girard Ave., 19123. The store front could be missed if you are driving too fast so look for the maroon-colored awning. If you are heading east towards the river it will be on your right. The food is absolutely amazing for lunch Tues-Sat. The food is cooked to order right in front of you and if it is nice out you can sit outside. While the neighborhood is still in the early stages of revitalization it is a place you mustn't miss. Most recently I had a roasted lamb sausage sandwhich (Gustaio) with fennel and sweet sun-dried tomato sauce topped with feta-- it was to die for! The menu has about 10 items on it from their take on an italian hoagie to whole suckling pig with broccoli rabe (Arista). Everything is great, try something new or get some of my recommendations, you won't be disappointed.

For dinner, check out the blossoming Northern Liberties neighborhood for a hipster-type art scene with great food and drinks. For breakfast: Honey's Sit n' Eat, Lunch Johnny Brenda's and Dinner: Dos Segundos Cantina then if it's nice check out the shops and art galleries throughout the neighborhood especially in the Piazza and Liberties Walk

Steak w/ blueberry sauce?

This dish is AMAZING!! I just want to re-touch on this post so that maybe someone can help us recreate this dish! My girlfriend and I were just reminiscing about how good Aqua al Due is and how much we long to go back to the original in Florence!!

Best Pre-Theater Lunch

We are going tomorrow, Wednesday for a 2pm show. We are looking to arrive in the city round noon. We are going to the Broadway Theater at 52nd and Broadway. We are looking to spend about $30-40 per person not including tax and tip. Money isn't a huge deal so long as we get a meal that is worth the money. We are going tomorrow, Wednesday. We like all different types of food. We would like to avoid Asian cuisine - esp. sushi - but we love american, cajun, italian, and new age eclectic menus.

Best Pre-Theater Lunch

My parents and I are heading to NYC this week for a matinee showing of Shrek. We don't go into NYC very often so I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for a pre-theater meal. We are open to all types of food, but we'd like to stay around mid-town if we can because we will be in a tight schedule.
