New Year's Eve Tapas
We're having a few people over for New Year's and I'm working on a tapas menu. Do you all have suggestions for good tapas recipes? Anything that can be made ahead would be ideal, because I'd much rather be hanging out with our friends with a glass of wine than standing over the stove. :) Also, any suggestions for what makes a well-rounded tapas menu would be greatly appreciated.
Need pumpkin pie recipe, not from the back of the can!
The Gingered Pumpkin Pie recipe from Cooking Light is really good, it's a typical pumpkin pie recipe with a gingersnap struesel. The lightened filling was no different than regular pumpkin pie (same taste, less fat!), but I'm sure you could use the struesel topping with any filling recipe.

Thanksgiving menu...looking for suggestions
Mmm...that all sounds delicious... I especially like the endive/dip idea.
Thanksgiving menu...looking for suggestions
I need some help finalizing my Thanksgiving menu for 4-8 people. So far, I've got turkey and gravy, of course. Pretty sure I'm using the Good Eats Roast Turkey recipe this year. Then green bean casserole (also an Alton Brown recipe), a creamed onion recipe that a few of you have suggested, and cranberry sauce (some combination of cranberries, fruit, and sugar that I'll make up as I go).
Do you have any suggestions for sweet potatoes, regular potatoes, and a couple of fancy appetizers/finger foods?
help me recreate simple sweet potato recipe
I would use raw slices and bake until they are cooked through. Sweet potatoes tend to get pretty mushy when they are baked whole, so they might not hold up to slicing and arranging.
