Over 30 brook trout I caught the first time out with my dad in Canada. Dusted with flour and fried in Canadian butter.... mmmmm...

Sauza Commemorativo margarita, on the rocks, no salt.

I really wish I could:

Live half the year in Rhode Island and half the year in Austin.

My "Go-to" dinner party dish:

Pork Tenderloin with Cilantro sauce and Apple-Poblano Slaw from the Fonda San Miguel cookbook, with a simple nopalito salad.

My favorite comfort food:

My mom's Shepherd's Pie.

My top 5 favorite restaurants:

Fonda San Miguel (Austin), Restaurant Bouchard (Newport), Sel de la Terre (Boston), Gautreau's (New Orleans) and Le Central (Denver).

My most tattered cookbooks:

My grandmother's copy of "The Joy Of Cooking" and a very old French Canadian cookbook that is covered with spatter marks and my mother's notes.
