Thanks, everyone. We went to River Palm in Edgewater, and the food was delicious. Unfortunately we had a very cramped table by the bar, and it was very drafty. I've never spent so much for a meal in front of a television!

Hi, I know this is not a usual ChowHound request, but I trust you all so much on matters of food that I turn to you for this question also. Can you recommend a good place to meet a blind date, for drinks, near Fort Lee? It should be not too loud, not too quiet, not too coarse, not too fancy. Not too expensive either, because you never know how these things turn out and neither person wants to invest in a bad date! Thank you very much.
