Is Registering for a $2,400 Espresso Maker Rude?

i think that asking for cash or something that expensive - $2400 for an espresso machine is very tacky. If you both want this item that bad -- how about you both saving towards the goal of owning this device. It may takew a while to save but I think you will treasure it more. If the marriage doesn't work out -- who gets the espresso machine?

Creamed Spinach

I just love creamed spinach - but would rather have a recipe that would be calorie and heart friendly. Perhaps with some kind of ricotta and cream cheese mixture. I would like the spiced up version with some hot peppers. That Sounds yummy. -- Any help would be appreciated with a recipe.

Asking for a steak "medium rare"

To start off I must say that now that I am over 60 yrs.old I am ordering steak and roast beef cooked to Medium rare. When I was younger I used to order and cook my steak Medium well. Has that situation happened to any others??? and I would also agree that your pickiness should increase as the steak price increases.

The Top Grocery-Store Etiquette Gaffes

the most irritating to me are the ones that park their carts in the middle of the aisle looking for an item down the aisle. they have no consideration for others at all and then they give you attitude when you move their cart so you can get down the aisle.

Girl Scout Slayer

If the monies from the fundraising went to the scouts, thats one thing. But it seems to be going to pay the high salaried corporate charities executives instead -- not good too excessive.

Chelsea area - first date dinner...suggestions, please

a very good Spanish restaurant on West 23rd St. Between 7th and 8th Avenues souon the south side of the street called El Quehote ( I know I mispelled the name) Very good food there - every time I visit N.Y C. I always have a meal or two there. and its only a block from where my sister lives. She also visits there on a regular basis. I believe it is nearer to 8th ave than 7th. It is very conversation friendly and they make very decent drinks too.

If that place is too pricey for your budget - try the diner on the corner of 23rd and Ninth ave, on the south west corner - they also make drinks there too.

Crazy Pretzel Sandwich

This product sounds pretty good to me. What markets can it be found at??
I remember years ago, I picked up a mixed package of pretzels at a 99 cents store and low and behold they had pumpernickel Onion mini pretzel rods in the package. They were the best variety in the bag. Problem is I never saw them again after that. Darn...

After that kind of service, I would think twice about returning to that place again.

Why is Fresh O.J. So Expensive in L.A.?

You wanna know why fresh squeezed OJ costs so much here in LA??? I'll tell you why, its cause they import the freakin oranges from Florida, thats why. I can never understand why the growers export most of the oranges elsewhere when they are grown right here, it just boggles the mind.
