Roadtrip NYC to Seattle

Go to Zingerman's Roadhouse - the Deli is good, but very spendy for what you get. The Roadhouse is also a bit spendy, but has really good barbeque and a burger to die for. Ask them if they have fried cheese curds (not always on the menu) - and the ribs are ... wow. My mouth is watering right now just thinking about them.

ROAD TRIP!!!

Thanks so much for the replies you all - very much looking forward to checking out your recommendations!

Portland and Oregon Road Trip - Looking for Beer/Brewery Recs

Go to one of the Rogue establishments - there's one in Portland (distillery and pub), but my recommendation is to go to the brewery in Newport (although there is not a lot of reason to go that far out of your way unless you really want to go to the coast).

ROAD TRIP!!!

Husband and I are moving out west and will be driving from Ann Arbor to Portland in early August. Our route is basically I-94 with a detour through Dubuque and Decorah, then to I-90 with a short detour into Yellowstone. Nights in Decorah, Minneapolis, Bismarck, Yellowstone, and Missoula. Any recommendations for some really tasty Midwest fare? Bonus points for good pie!
