Sophisticated Girls Night Out (or Luncheon) Near MTC in Winnipeg

I'm not even sure it is closed.....I had heard that from someone, and I then haven't heard anything else about them in awhile. I'm near there basically every day so I'll try to stop in and see. Just a heads up in case misslindymae decides to check it out!

You should definitely try Oui. The wine bar is really nice (sit by the fireplace if you can), and you can just have drinks in there or the full menu. The food is great and the cocktail list is quite interesting.

Another place to consider would be Hermano's. They're a new-ish "South American" restaurant close to MTC warehouse. I say "South American" because the curried paella I had there wasn't exactly what I would consider South American food (although it was tasty). They have a fairly big space (restaurant on one side, lounge on the other), so if your group is large this would be a good option. I think they sometimes have a trio that plays Brazillian music.

There's also another bar/restauarnt close by called The District. I haven't been myself, but I've heard good things.

I'm not sure if Tre Visi is still open.....?
