Looking to host a business dinner for 20-30 people on a Wednesday evening coming up soon. Really want Adams Morgan. Even tough it's business, its a fun dinner, not a PowerPoint frenzy. Would love a rooftop if the weather holds or possibly a private room.
Any easy ideas for places that can accommodate with good food and good service?
Thanks for the recommendations and please keep them coming!
Entrée range of $20-30 - we can be a bit flex on that and that is not including apps, drinks, desserts.
FWIW, I talked to Central and for groups over 10, they will keep you to a fixed menu of 4 selections....you choose the 4 entrees ahead of time. With so many tasty options, I would find it hard to narrow to 4!
Been searching the boards and found a similar string, but looking for something a little different.
We are doing a celebratory dinner this Saturday for 11 people (short notice!) and are looking for something moderately priced (entrees between 25-30) that is walking distance from the Mellon Auditorium (for us, this means about 6 blocks).
Would like to stay east of the White House and south of H Street. We have a diverse group, with some pickiness, so would not consider Indian or Asian fare (at least for this dinner). Already ruled out Old Ebbitt.
We're looking for someplace fun, moderately noisy with quality food.
Some current considerations:
We are going purely on recommendations, as none of us is really familiar with the DC dining scene. :)
Thanks in advance!
I am staying in downtown Belleviue by the mall (first time here), and I am looking for great coffee early in the morning without having to go too far. I'm here for business, and am on a pretty tight morning timeline.
Will be doing the usual tourist stuff in the afternoon, but looking for a GREAT kick-start to the day.
Was searching the boards, but didn't see anything specifically for this topic.
Thanks for your help! :)
Red Pearl Kitchen on J between 4th & 5th has tasty Asian fusion food. Moderately priced food. Expensive cocktails.
I enjoy the Chicken/Ginger potsickers, Shrimp beggar purses, Shaking Kobe beef, Garlic cashew chicken & Chinese sausage noodle dish.
Tasty asian food in Gaslamp. Its a trendy place, but friendly and all kinds of people inside on the 2 times I ate there. www.redpearlkitchen.com
