I'd like to invite about 10-12 people out for a casual birthday gathering for drinks and shared appetizers. Location: UES, mid-town, or downtown. We need a comfortable spot that can accomodate us standing up plus decent food and drinks. Ideally, I'd like to find a large, comfortable bar, not a private dining room (although I'm open to it if the atmosphere is right). Any recommendations for a fun birthday night out?
