Azul Key West or 915 Duval

El Siboney's vaca frita
Croissants de France's grilled brie on brioche, add bacon
Sandy's cuban mix (just pull up a stool)

Key West in Nov.

Our fav was El Siboney, grilled chops and vaca frita were yummy, generous, and affordable. I liked the cuban mix sandwhich at Sandy's better than 5 Brothers personally. The Good Life had great grilled cheese and tomato soup appetizer. For dessert our best was banana bread bananas foster at Blue Heaven. Loved the savory crepe at the Crepe stand on Duval. Croissants de France had a fabulous grilled brie sandwich on brioche-add bacon and it's the best sandwich ever! Camille's had a wonderful omelet but I found their french toast over-rated.

Best White Pizza or Pepperoni Pizza (Austin)

I like Milto's thick crusted pizza, you can get a slice and a small Greek salad for a great price-that's why there is such a great following of college students and locals alike.

Great Cajun food for < $20 per person?

We like Coop's, nice dark gumbo, there's a combo plate with jambalaya and fried chicken, looove the crab dressing stuffed fried peppers-very affordable.

Deanies has huge affordable portions and good fried seafood with friendly waitstaff.

I love french toast at Petunia's, huge portions and reasonably priced.

Johnny's poboys (cash only) have great crawfish poboys.

Central Grocery has the best muffaletta's and they are beyond huge and highly affordable.

Some good friends think Louisiana Pizza kitchen has the best pizza on the planet.

Beignets at Cafe du Monde are yummy and a very affordable breakfast or snack. Also the candy shop next to the Bienville House has great pralines.

All are in the quarter and well priced but very good.
