Please help! Afternoon tea or dessert bar The Mandarin Oriental has afternoon tea and buffet sandwiches/scones/desserts at its Empress Lounge. I think it's Thursday-Sunday. |

If you like chocolate, the mocha is quite good as is the red velvet. |
I like Harris Teeter (consistent). Whole Foods bakery is hit or miss - some is good, but other is pretty bad. |

affordable dinner near Union Station Bistro Cacao is great. It's 2 blocks north of Union Station on Massachusetts Ave. |
How about Levi's Port City Cafe 8thStreet SE? |

Where to buy vegemite/marmite in DC area? I've seen it at Marvelous Market on Capitol Hill (7th Street by Eastern Market). |
DC/NOVA Mothers Day Brunch with Omelette Station The Roof Terrace at The Kennedy Center is also a good option. It's not quite as lavish as the Fairmont, but it's also not quite as expensive. |

White pizza at We The Pizza is pretty good!!! |

Paul bakery opening May 2nd! Penn Quarter I went only once, but was very disappointed. We went for dessert, so I can't comment on the bread. The lemon pastry had no lemon flavor and tasted stale - They were kind enough to give us a chocolate one instead when we complained (a bit better, but not much). The macarons were large enough to miss the right texture. |

The Rooftop Terrace restaurant at the Kennedy Center does a good Sunday brunch. I'm not sure of the price, but it's not as pricey as the Four Seasons or Fairmont (maybe $45). |

If you're going to do pizza, We The Pizza is closer to the Capitol than Matchbox..........and you can get great shake for dessert next door at Good Stuff. Matchbox pizza/sauce is a bit spicier. |

We've been going to Rehoboth for years and the best we can find are Pasqualini's and the bakery at Giant. Cake Break is horrible - cake tastes very dry and stale. |

I don't understand the attraction of Dangerously Delicious Pies Tried Dangerously Delicious for the 1st time tonight. We got a whole steak/onion/gruyere and 3 sweet slices (lemon, Baltimore bomb, mixed berry). The savory was very tasty. We were not as impressed with the sweet - the Balt bomb was the best of the 3 but just OK and the mixed berry was the worst (no one ate more that a bite or two). |

Restaurant near Capitol for large (30-40ish?) group We The Pizza at 3rd Street and Penn Ave SE can do a private room. |

I live on The Hill and we have made We The Pizza one of our regular spots. The cheese on the white seems really fresh and melts well togeher. The crust is absolutely the best I've had in DC. |

All this FEAR is making me HUNGRY! Just FYI - Eastern Market is open Sundays and closed Mondays. |

Upcoming chef? Local sourcing? Southern food? Or just yummy, midweek dinner, affordable, DC? How about Sou'wester in the Mandarin Oriental for Southern inspired? Not cheap but not too over the top. |

Where might I find chocolate bread in the MD/DC area? Could id have been Le Madeleine? They used to have a variety of different types and flavors of bread - a white chocolate I loved. Unfortuately, they stopped making them. |

We, the PIzza. I get "Who?" My question is "When?" I went tonight too. I really liked the pizza...........not the best ever but, worth it if you're in the neighborhood. The thinner crust was just crispy enough on the bottom and yeasty/doughy at the end. The ricotta on the white tasted very fresh. |

Where can i buy Duck/ Goose Liver in DC Several places in Eastern Market |

Zest Bistro on Capitol Hill - Any Opinions? I've been twice. Good, friendly service both times. I enjoyed the trio of spreads for an appetizer for the table. My mom loved the lamb shank. |

Wedding lunch at a DC restaurant with a view How about Charlie Palmer's? Rooftop desk has a great view of the Capitol and Penn Ave. |

We, the PIzza. I get "Who?" My question is "When?" I can't recall where but, recently I saw something that said May 15 |

Need some help for Mother's day The Colonnade at the Fairmont Hotel has a lovely brunch and a beautiful room--a bit pricey but worth it for a celebration. |
