ND Sushi and Grill (replaced Cajun Corner) - anyone try it?

Over the last 30 years I have tried MANY of the Sushi restaurants in Toronto and have narrowed it down to My Top Five....now this new place is in my Top Five! It is owned by Koreans so it is not pure Japanese such as Kajui Aoyama, Zen, Mikado, Hiro and Cafe Michi. The menu is Fushion I think...Cream of Edaname Soup was new and noteworthy. It's great because there is also free Parking across the street in the Canadian Tire lot. Didn't like the decor too much as I thought it was too dark and could use some work. Pretty soon this place is going to be packed!!!

Talk a lot? How about leaving us alone while we eat!! He's creepy! And he ripped us off by charging us $40.00 more for the sashimi plate priced at $25.00. His price - $65.00. So long....

Solo-Sushi-Ya, Newmarket - Overdue Re-visit

Beware the Price of the "Chef's Choice" Sashimi menu stating it costs $25.00. We were in for a BIG surprise at the end of the meal when the "Chef's Choice" was $65.00!!!! Are you kidding me?! You can't do that to repeat customers if you want them back. There is no excuse for this. Opps! We forgot to change our menu?! This has happened a few times there....the Price of Sake changes from visit to visit........

Allens at Broadview and Danforth has a perfectly crispy calamari with a mayo-chipotle dip! Yowza

Toronto's Best Sushi?!

I just recently went to Zen at Eglinton & Danforth and it was amazing. I also liked Japango and Rikishi!
Hiro didn't do it for me... I've been to A LOT of Toronto's Japanese restaurants.....

Lobster Trap or Starfish?

Tough choice! Lobster trap is a family/senior fast paced place...and they don't take reservations...but it's good traditional seafood...excellent lobster bisque!! (I don't like some of the waitresses there and they can be rude, forgetful and pushy!

Starfish is pricier and more gourmet....the oysters are amazing and so is the Owner - Patrick!
The wait staff is funny and charming.....
