thank you very much. but, when i looked at it, it showed many items in the kosher column that are not kosher, so i dont 100% trust it. and thats ireland, not germany.

no, there wasn't. just a sticker in hebrew on top that says 4 + 1 free, meaning buy four packages and get one free

I'm very upset. my grandmother bought kinder chocolate at ben gurion airport duty-free and brought it home to new york. i looked at it- and it has no hechsher!! it said made in germany or something. i was so mad. She told me that these are specially made, and are kosher, but they just dont label them as kosher. people please help me! if you know any information of the Kinder Chocolates sold at Ben Gurion airport Duty-free, please tell me.

Great Neck Recommendations?

Shish Kabob Palace, King Kosher Pizza, and Cafe Kriza are all under the supervision of Rav Eliyahu Ben-Chaim, one of the Rabbis of my shul, he is sephardic, fully orthodox, and one of the biggest tzadikim I know. I'm most probably sure the meat is Shechitat Beit Yosef.

Best Kosher Restaurant in Great Neck

I've lived in geat neck my whole life, i know all about kosher here.
Chalav Israel Pizzas- Great Neck Kosher (aka Royas), La Pizzeria, Elite, And King Kosher.
Glatt Chinese- Cho-sen Village, Wok Tov II( currently closed for renovating), and K Roasters(Chinese and American)
Glatt Meat- Bistro Grill and Deli, Shish Kabob Palace, Danny's and Colbeh(both persian), Caspian Glatt( for events)
Ice Cream- Cold Stone, Carvel, Haagen Dazs(i think)
All-kosher Supermarket- Everfresh
Dairy- Kafe Kriza, La Gelato
Breakfast- Bagel Mentch
Butcher- Great Neck Glatt, Eilat(not glatt)
They're all good places

kosher poptarts

Hey its me. I looked on the tradition website, it only showed soups, pizza crusts and sauce, ravioli, and spaghetti. I didnt see like toaster pastries. Please respond back.

Great Neck Kosher Restaurants

If any of you live in Nassau County, Long Island, New York, and want to go to delicious kosher restaurants, my friend, Great Neck's the town for you. Here'sa list of great restaurants and their descriptions.

La Pizzeria

My choice for the most delicious kosher pizzeria in Great Neck. They have pizza with all kinds of toppings, great sushi and pasta. The place connected to it on the right of it is called La Gelato. They've got some great ice cream, and they also make crepes with some sweet toppings.

This by far is probably the most delicous glatt kosher chinese restaurant in Nassau. They have lots of great food. Many different beef and chicken vegetable combinations, with a savory brown sauce. And have soups, and egg rolls too. And some great lo-mein spahetti. It's a little expensive, but way worth it.

This is the only all-kosher bagel store in Great Neck. This is the best breakfast place. The make omeletes with different vegetables, variety of salads, and lots of different drinks. They have bagels, challahs, and pastrys. They also have pancakes and waffles. Think of it as a kosher Ihop to go.

There are two kosher persian restaurants in Great Neck; Colbeh, and Danny's. I think that Danny's food tastes way better then Colbeh, but Colbeh is a much fancier restaurant. Danny's has everthing such as chicken, mini steak, and lamb kebabs, persian food like tahdig and chorest, meaning crispy rice and stew. Sounds weird, but I think its the greatest tasting food.

There are like 10 more great restaurants in Great Neck, but It's hard to write about them all. Visit Great Neck. You'll never regret eating at a kosher restaurant here.

Recipe for Yummy Cake [moved from Kosher board]

Roulette Cake

7 large eggs
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla extract (liquid)
8 oz. container frozen whipping cream (thaw for at least 3 hours)

First, preheat the oven to bake 375 degrees. Take out two large mixing bowls. Seperate 6 of the seven eggs in the 2 bowls, and add the other whole egg into the yolks. Beat yolks for 10 minutes or until frothy. Then, gradually add the sugar. After, add the flour, and baking powder and blend. Then add the vanilla extract. After you're done, wash the beaters. Then beat the eggwhites; they are ready when you hold the bowl upside down and it doesn'r come down. Then, add the dough to the eggwhites. DO NOT BEAT!! You must FOLD; meaning scoop with a plastic spatula under, and pull to the top. Fold until all dough is 1 color. Then, put wax paper on a jelly roll pan (flat rectangle, about 1' by 1 3/4') and pour batter onto it. Place in the oven for about 15 minutes, or until nice and brown on the top. When done, take out of the oven, and place it on the counter for 20 minutes. Then slowly and carefully, pull of of pan by the edges of the wax paper. Gently peel the cake off the wax paper onto a tray. Then open the container of thawed whipping cream and pour into medium bowl. Blend until,as the egghites, when you hold it upside down, nothing comes down. Then, take a plastic spatula and spread cream over the top of the cake, but leave about a quarter of the cream left. If you like you could also put chopped fruit on the cake. Then you gently roll the cake like a newspaper. After, spread the rest of the cream on the top.

And there you have it one delicious jewish cake to go. Cut in about 3/4 inch ovular slices. Enjoy!
