Pizzeria Mozza & Chris Bianco Tomatoes

Thanks, I actually had not been back to Mozza since December and I had not heard about these amazing tomatoes so this was new to me. Sorry I was a little late to the game, but it was worth the wait and boy is that a great pizza. Don't wait.

plan check on sawtelle is now open!

"It must have been wondrous"

It was indeed.

Pizzeria Mozza & Chris Bianco Tomatoes

Just had Pizzeria Mozza's new pizza made with It's Bianco DiNapoli tomatoes. The California canned organic tomatoes from famed pizzaiolo Chris Bianco in Phoenix and I did not image that these tomatoes could make that much of a difference but all I can say is wow! The pizza costs a little bit more but the taste is sweet, fresh and amazingly wonderful. I had the Prosciutto di Parma, rucola, tomato & mozzarella di bufala. Just 3 ingredients in the sauce, organic tomatoes, a touch of salt and 3 basil leaves in each can. On Mozza's menu now with 3 other special tomato pizzas....
1. Mozzarella di bufala , tomato, Genovese basil & extra virgin olive oil
2.Tomato, Sicilian oregano & extra virgin olive oil
3. Napolitana: Tomato, mozzarella di bufala, olives, anchovies & fried capers.
Very highly recommended. One of the best I've ever had.

800 Degree Pizza Falls Flat

I have been going to 800 degree since they've opened and I believe that they have a great product at their price. If there's a problem they have been glad to fix it. One time I was there they remade pizzas for everyone in line because there was a problem with the oven and the chef was unhappy with the pizzas coming out at no charge to anyone as in free.

Visiting Laguna Beach for a week - need recommendations

May I ask where did you try the 6 disappointing burgers?

Saturday night dinner: Providence vs. Mozza

Mozza reservations come out 30 days early, so if you want to go June 13th you can not book until
May 13th, Warning they fill up very very very fast. Call them to book it, do not book it on open table because they don't get the good times that are available when you actually call the resturant.
PS... I love Providence too,,,

Looking For Restaurant With Great Bone Marrow / Marrow-Based Dish

+2. I think the side dishes at Cut are better than the steaks.

Please Magic Johnson + Guggenheim, make this happen

Agree it's nice to be able to bring in food to the Stadium. We bring in Bay Cities sandwiches. But wouldn't it be nice if you didn't have to do that or better yet had a real choice.
