If you had to pick just ONE winery tour and tasting...
Have time this Friday for just one winery in the late afternoon before a dinner at Ad Hoc.
Needs to be between Downtown Napa and Youtnville, and would love to do a full tour to kill some time before dinner. Hoping for a high end, small winery to check out.
Suggestions?

First time to Napa- Itinerary so far... please help!
My girlfriend and I are heading to Napa for a weekend for the first time and I'd like your help!
I've done a bunch of reading on here so far, tons of great information, maybe too much. Based on what I've read, and suggestions from friends and family, this is what we have so far, would appreciate any advice.
Friday:
-Get into town around 3:30-4pm, Staying at Marriott in Napa
-Kick around town until dinner at Ad Hoc (so pumped!)
-Bar for drinks in Napa.. any suggestions?
Saturday:
General plan is to start up in St Helena and work our way back towards the hotel. Not sure how we're traveling, maybe get a limo or van? Any thoughts here?
-10am tour and tasting at Pride Mountain Winery
-Lunch somewhere near St. Helena... Any advice?
-1pm and on, head down the Silverado trail. possible stops include: Frog's Leap, Sinesky, Stag's Leap, Pine Ridge. Any thoughts on these, or other can't miss or must avoid stops? Especially interested in wineries that have tastings or tours on the cheaper side.
-Dinner. TBD. Favorite spots in downtown Napa area? what about BYOB?
What's an appropriate number of wineries to visit? i was thinking of touring 1-2 and tasting at 2-3 more.
Any all advice is greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

Can I ask about Napa resto's on this board?
Sure hope so because here i go...
Heading to Napa in a few weeks with the girlfriend for the weekend. Hitting Ad Hoc for dinner the first night, but looking for suggestions for the 2nd night. Staying in downtown Napa, but willing to travel a bit. Not looking for anything too fancy or pricey (ie: french laundry or cyrus), just great food.

Looking for foodie bars to watch Patriot games
Stoddard's. They have a big projection screen in the main bar and a great beer list.
Eastern Standard will also have the game on at the bar. Not sure how into it the crowd will be, thought.

Where to buy pre-made buns for pork buns?
Looking to pick up some pre-made buns to use in a pork bun recipe. I've heard that Asian Grocery stores sometimes carry them frozen.
Any ideas where to pick some up in the Boston area?
Looking for Italian joint for Biz dinner near the Loop
Looking for an Italian place for a biz dinner (6-8 people). Something close to the Loop, walking or short cab ride would be great. Trying to keep price somewhat reasonable, maybe like $50 or so per person.
Dinner at Blue Ginger July 2009
pretty sure shrimp is supposed to taste like seafood. maybe you should try the steak?
21st birthday dinner for a foodie/wine family
Craigie on Main. End of Discussion. Had my birthday dinner there a few months back and it was amazing. Make sure to do the tasting menu. If you call ahead of time and tell them you are coming in for your birthday/celebration, they will make sure to take care of you (best table, Chef Maws comes out to greet and serve, etc). Fantastic cocktails and wine list as well.
Good Wine Buys for under $10.00?
Try "Alamos". They are a winery in Argentina. They have a fantastic Chard-- nice and buttery (the '06 is particularly good if you can still find it) and a great Malbec. Both for $10. Can be found at Martys or Brookline Liquor Mart... prob some other places too.
Good Cooking Class in Boston?
I am looking for a good cooking class in the Boston area, good for couples, preferably at a well known restaurant but I am open to anything. Any suggestions?
looking for a great couple's cooking class

Looking for great Italian in N. End at resonable price
Can anybody suggest a great Italian joint in the N. End that wont break the bank? Especially looking for somewhere with great antipasto offerings.
Good Balsamic Vinegar?
I am looking for suggestions for a good balsamic vinegar. I don't want to spend more than $20. Thoughts?
