Shatzer Matzah - Where to buy in Northern NJ?

Shmurah Matzo Recommendations -- It's that time of the year...
KRM in BP had Chareidim shleimim for $19.99 per lb. and 2 lbs of shevarim for $35.99, today.
They had very limited supply.
Kosher Spare ribs at Costco
They are surprisingly good. There is some gristle on them, but they are soft and flavorful, with a barbecue taste.
Shmurah Matzo Recommendations -- It's that time of the year...
Chareidim, for sure.
Just realize that if you are looking for shleimim (whole matzos), Chareidim have a tendency to break, or at least crack partially, so your box is liable to contain several matzos that are not 100% whole and uncracked.
Also, note that if you do not need shleimim for Lechem Mishneh, you can buy shevarim (broken matzos) that cost a dollar or two less per pound, at least in the big, Boro Park supermarkets.
Washington Heights style cold cuts
Mettwurst, by definition, is a pork sausage. methinks you will not find this in any kosher butcher...

French Toast from Challah
For those who heat up the challah on Shabbos in an oven with uncovered meat or chicken, do NOT make French toast from this challah if you are adding milk to it. You may want to ask your LOR if you can even make it in a Milchig frying pan (I would THINK that you cannot, generally)
Jerusalem: where to take my son's friends?
Another vote for Cafe Rimon. I have hosted two of my yeshiva bochur sons, along with their friends. Also have taken my sister and brother-in-law. Everyone loves Rimon.
There is also a dairy rimon in mamilla mall, as well.
Where to Eat, Shop, and Stay "Jewishly" Near Secaucus New Jersey
Passaic/Clifton is 10 minutes (or less) from Secaucus and Kosherfest.
You can get a good idea of what passaic has to offer here (Scroll down to "KOSHER FOOD IN PASSAIC-CLIFTON"):
http://www.yipc.org/around_passaic.htm
Bagel Munch will be your best (only?) option for breakfast, but you can get coffee/hot chocolate along with danishes, rolls, etc. at Yochies bakery.
Acme has a Starbucks, and the entire bakery section is under the OU. this may be another breakfast option.
Costco (in Clifton) is "between" Secaucus and Passaic and is 3 - 5 minutes from any of the Passaic food venues.
Sams Club is in Secaucus proper.
Fairway Franks
Tried the new Fairway Franks (OU Glatt) yesterday. $3.99 for 12 oz., 6 Franks
Very Good. Much(!) better than the large package of A&H at Costco. Franks were a little thin (some companies have 6 franks for 16 ozs) but taste was very good, almost butcher quality.
A little pricey; I will wait till they go on sale (hopefully!).
Abeles & Heymans Franks
I've tried the A&H (from Costco) and was not blown away. I happen to think that Shor Habor (really) makes a great hotdog.
But nothing matches the ones we used to get from Koestrich (spelling?) in Washington Heights 40 years ago...
Saving money on appetizers
You can buy a nice, inexpensive OU glatt assortment at Costco. They also have a box with only franks-in-blankets.
Trader Joe's New Kosher Wines NATIONWIDE
Only 1 Trader Joe's in Manhattan sells wine:138 E. 14th St. Union Square
Went there today and, from the list above, they only have the Sara bee. (They also have the Bartenura Moscato @11.99).

Noah's Ark Recommendations
Going to Noah's Ark (Teaneck) this week.
Do they do anything really well?
Filling a Jelly donut?
This may be a little late for Chanukah but, can anyone suggest a simple, neat way to fill a jelly donut?
Review of Fairway Paramus
That's interesting.
i thought that ALL the Fairway fresh-baked breads are kosher, except for the special bins of bagels that are specifically marked "NOT KOSHER"....
Mehadrin all-inclusive Dead Sea or kibbutz suggestions?

Kosher Food (Maybe Not Quite Chow) In Port Authority
KOA took rescinded the Hechsher when they found out it was owned by a Jew and would be open on Shabbos.

I was also thinking that the Tiferes matzo is from last year, since the Tiferes Matzoh Bakery in Far Rockaway (Under Rav Belsky) did not open this year.
Passover Ketchup and oil
Never assume...
This plays off the opinion of some, that cottonseed is considered Kitniyos. Either way, it's dishonest, as by labeling it only "vegetable" oil, they hope to fool the people who would not buy it if it said "cottonseed".
best packaged gefilte fish
Royal is made by A & B. We buy it by the case at their factory store in NJ. It has a bit more Matzoh Meal than the regular A & B so it is less expensive but, i also agree, it's one of the best out there.
