Need Seafood restaurant reco in St. Louis

Help! My client wants to eat seafood TONIGHT in St. Louis. Need one restaurant recommendation. Price not an issue.

Authentic Mexican Food in Chicago?

Ok, to be more specific: I guess what I'm looking for is a Mexican place with a figurehead owner or Chef. I want to expose a high school student to a successful Mexican entrepreneur in the restaurant business because he wants to open his own restaurant! But not high-end Rick Bayless... someone more accessible.

Authentic Mexican Food in Chicago?

Looking for real Mexican, not fusion, not upscale, just really good, honest food... preferably a place run by a native Mexican. Downtown location would be ideal but neighborhoods OK.

Restaurant Recos for French Riviera?

WOW. That looks like just the kind of place we're seeking. Thanks. Any other recos along the route?

Restaurant Recos for French Riviera?

Flying into Nice middle of August, then driving along the coast up into Italy. Any must-visit restaurants? Would also love recommendations for other foodie things i.e. artisan food makers, farms, wineries we could visit.

Sonoma in April! Good lunch suggestions?

I love Willie's Wine Bar in Santa Rosa. It's off the 101 as you head north from Sonoma to Healdsburg. If it's nice out, they have a great patio. Don't miss the Downtown Bakery & Creamery on the square in Healdsburg.

What the heck happened to Google recipe search?

Not sure if you use Google to search for recipes as often as I do, but they recently added-- then inexplicably took away-- a cool new interactive search. About a week ago, if you typed RECIPES into Google search, you'd get pull-down menus asking you what kind of cuisine and daypart you were searching.

Does anyone have any idea why it's gone?

Best Restaurants in Monterey

We're headed to Monterey for the annual car show this weekend. Food seems to be hit-or-miss in downtown Monterey. We've had amazing food at Stoke's Adobe, then were disappointed when we went back. We're looking for anything but stuffy, old-fashioined food, like Fresh Cream. Any suggestions?

Cooking Classes in SF?

Who is putting on really good cooking classes in SF? I've tried Tante Marie, Williams-Sonoma, and Rogue Chefs in Half Moon Bay. Any other suggestions?

NYC Restaurant Reco?

I'm heading to NYC and want to eat dinner at an exciting new spot that's not too uber-trendy, lacking fussiness and white tablecloths, and definitely one without silly molecular gastronomy experiments on my plate.

What I am looking for: good solid food (ethnic would be a plus), energetic, excellent wine selection. Any suggestions?

Restaurant reco in Carmel or Monterey? [moved from SF Board]

We're spending the night in Monterey, which I've found to be a bit of a culinary wasteland. Any suggestions? We'd be willing to drive to Carmel if it was worth it.

IN SINGAPORE & NEED RESTAURANT RECOS!!

We're in Singapore...perhaps a few days longer than planned. Anyway, we need a restaurant...tonight! Just traveled here from Hong Kong, so we've had a recent fix of Chinese food. Any recommendations on really good, truly local, representative Singaporean restaurants? I'm worried about tourist traps.

Had "A Gourmet Experience" lately?

Free meatballs? How come I don't know about this?!

The other suggestions are great. I am soooo on-board with much of what you guys have suggested. What about non-food?

Had "A Gourmet Experience" lately?

I am looking for examples of food (and even non-food) shops -- NOT full-serve restaurants-- that provide a truly gourmet experience. I'm taking some folks on a food tour and want to show them the most chichi, upscale, premium, and delicious things that SF has to offer... ideally off the beaten path. In other words, off the tourist path, into the neighborhoods of The City.
